A major producer in the packaging industry approached Omnitool to design and manufacture form and trim tooling for an oversized deli container lid with an outside diameter of 18.0″. This tool forms product from OPS sheet and therefore requires the plugs to be heated to eliminate sheet chilling while encouraging better flow and distribution of material. The tool is designed to run in an Irwin Magnum former and trim press.
